Robin2025-06-057.0Verified Good Lynne2025-06-047.0Verified I was watching the 6 o’clock news fully dressed in bed ☺ I was meet by a polite lady who explained everything including where the breakfast room was ☹ It was so so cold Susan2025-06-0410Verified Overall, l enjoyed the experience very much and would definitely recommend. ☺ Excellent facilities-comfortable, clean. The bed and linen were first rate. A nice selection of teas, biscuits and chocolate. The unexpected addition of a sitting room was very welcome. Lucky for me that I’m very short as the doorways were very low (l was up in the eaves!!)-very quirky. The breakfast was absolutely top-notch; so much variety and everything fresh and of a a high quality-right down to the bread and marmalade!! ☹ A small thing. Apart from when I arrived and at breakfast the next morning, I didn’t see a soul. I left after breakfast and there was no-one around to acknowledge my leaving. It seemed slightly odd in a family run hotel. I’m not one who craves attention but I felt a little invisible. A little more human contact would have made it more welcoming. Rachel2025-06-0310Verified Excellent, definitely a 10/10 ☺ Karen, a lovely friendly host Excellent location Fabulous breakfast (amazing banana bread!) Super hot water Beautiful character house Comfortable beds Super additional living space attached to the bedroom ☹ Only two minor things, a result of being in the loft space. Nowhere to hang any clothes, no mirror near a socket for drying hair. Small mirror could easily be mounted on the wall in the bedroom by the bed. Zoltan2025-06-029.0Verified Wonderful Tracy2025-05-2710Verified Excellent hosts, lovely room, great breakfast. Lovely views. Highly recommend! Kate2025-05-269.0Verified Wonderful ☺ The host was fantastic. Couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble. We had tea and cake in the beautiful gardens looking at the stunning sea view. ☹ The beds in the twin room were very soft. I prefer a firmer mattress but that could just be my preference.
